GROUND FLOOR

On the ground floor you will find the main entrance of the chalet and you enter our spacious, comfortable entrance hall. There is plenty of room to leave coats, shoes and all your worries. For skis and other outdoor gear there is a separate storage/ski room on the left side of the chalet (accessed via a separate door from the outside). This room is equipped with a ski stand, ski boot heater and enough storage space for other items that you want to store dry.

On the ground floor you will also find a communal toilet and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer.

Sleeping

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are located on either side of the hall. These bedrooms have XL King size double beds (180cm x 210cm), which can also be taken apart to make 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with toilet, rain shower and sink, and are equipped with a Smart TV, desk and wardrobe. Sliding doors open to a veranda. The perfect place to curl up for a few hours with a good book.

Wellness

Relax after a day of skiing or hiking, or rejuvenate yourself in the Finnish sauna. The sauna also has a rain shower for a cold or warm shower.

Living space

The entire first floor of the chalet is dedicated to the living space! This floor consists of a spacious kitchen, dining area, lounge with fireplace, entertainment area and a large outdoor terrace. Everything you need for a great time with family and friends.

As the Wanderfalk Lodge is a self-catering chalet, we have designed a spacious modern kitchen, perfect for preparing meals for large groups. The kitchen has a cooking island with a modern induction cooking system, luxury Jura coffee machine, 2 refrigerators, a freezer, 2 XL dishwashers and a top-quality oven with built-in microwave.

The dining area not only offers great views on all sides, but also a 4 meter long dining table that can comfortably seat 16 adults. So everyone can sit at the table! We also have 3 high chairs for babies and toddlers.

The lounge is the perfect place to relax. Light the fireplace and take a break from life. We have made sure there is enough space for everyone to sit around the fireplace!

On sunny days, of which there are many in Hochkönig, you can relax on our large outdoor terrace. It has a lounge area, a dining table for 8 people and a gas barbecue. You can also open the large sliding doors to make the indoor lounge wonderfully fresh.

For those looking for some entertainment in the evenings or on rainy days, we have an entertainment corner with a 55″ Smart TV and Denon Home Theater System. Watch your favorite shows on Netflix or play old-fashioned board games!

TOP FLOOR / BEDROOMS

The top floor is the sleeping area of the chalet. This floor consists of 4 spacious bedrooms with XL beds, 2 of which have additional attic rooms. These attic rooms both have a comfortable staircase, but limited headroom.

Bedroom 3, at the front of the chalet, is the perfect family room, but can also comfortably accommodate 3-4 adults. It has a king size XL double bed (180cm x 210cm) and a double bed (180cm x 200cm) in the upstairs loft room. The room has an en-suite bathroom with toilet, rain shower and sink and is equipped with a smart TV and clothes rack. And best of all: a dream balcony that overlooks the entire valley!

Bedroom 4, the other bedroom at the front, has a king-size XL double bed (180cm x 210cm). It is equipped with a smart TV, a desk and a wardrobe and of course also has access to the great balcony at the front. This bedroom has a large luxurious bathroom with toilet, shower and bath with a view over the entire valley! Immerse yourself and dream away after a day full of activities. This bathroom is also accessible from the hall, so everyone can use it.

Bedroom 5, at the back of the chalet, is again a very suitable family room. It has an XL bunk bed (90cm x 210cm) and a double bed (180cm x 200cm) in the attic room. The room is equipped with a wardrobe.

Bedroom 6 is a good room for 3 children, but the beds are also large and spacious enough for adults. This bedroom has an XL bunk bed (90 cm x 210 cm) and an XL single bed (90 cm x 210 cm). It is equipped with a smart TV and a wardrobe.

Bedroom 5 and 6 have access to a shared bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The large luxurious bathroom with bath is also accessible from the hall.

*All XL double beds can also be separated to make 2 single beds.

* There are 3 baby cots available (Hauck, foldable)

BEGANE GROND

On the ground floor you will find the main entrance to the chalet and enter our large, comfortable entrance hallway. There is plenty of space in the hallway for you to leave behind your jackets, shoes and all that troubles you. For ski’s and other outdoor gear, we have created a separate storage /ski room on the left side of the chalet (accessed by a different door from the outside). It has a ski stand, ski shoe heater and enough storage space for anything else you want to store in a dry place.

On the ground floor you will also find a common toilet and a utility area with a washing machine and dryer.

You can find bedrooms 1 & 2 on either side of the hallway. These bedrooms have XL King size double beds (180cm x 210cm), that can also be pulled apart to make 2 single beds. Both bedrooms feature an ensuite bathroom with toilet, rain shower and sink and are fitted with a Smart TV, desk and clothes cabinet. Sliding doors open up to a Veranda. The perfect place to hide away for a few hours with a nice book.

WELLNESS

Soak away the fatigue of a day spent skiing or hiking, or just rejuvenate yourself by relaxing in the Finnish Sauna. The Sauna also has a Rainshower if you want to take a cold or a hot shower.

WOONKAMER

The Living space covers the entire first floor of the chalet! This floor consists of a spacious kitchen, dining area, lounge with a fireplace, entertainment corner and a large outdoor terrace. Everything you need for a great time with family and friends.

Since the Wanderfalk Lodge is a self catering chalet, we designed a spacious modern kitchen, perfect for preparing meals for large groups. The dining area offers not only amazing views on all sides, but also a 4 meter long dining table that can accommodate 16 adults comfortably. So everyone can have a seat at the table! We also have 3 high chairs for babies and toddlers.

The lounge is the perfect place for you to put your feet up and relax. Light up the fire and put life on pause for a while. We made sure there is enough space for everyone to cosy up around the fireplace!

On sunny days, of which there are many in Hochkönig, you can relax on our large outdoor terrace. It has a lounge area, 8 person dining table and a gas fired barbecue. You can also open up the large sliding doors to make the indoor lounge nice and breezy.

For those looking for some entertainment in the evenings or on those rainy gloomy days, we’ve got you covered! The entertainment corner has a 55″ Smart TV and Denon Home Theatre System. Watch your favourite shows on Netflix or simply play some old fashioned boardgames!

BOVENVERDIEPING / SLAAPKAMERS

De bovenste verdieping is het slaapgedeelte van het chalet. Deze verdieping bestaat uit 4 ruime slaapkamers met XL-bedden, waarvan 2 slaapkamers extra zolderkamers hebben. Deze zolderkamers hebben beide een comfortabele trap, maar wel een beperkte stahoogte.

Slaapkamer 3, aan de voorkant van het chalet, is de perfecte familiekamer, maar biedt ook ruim plaats aan 3-4 volwassenen. Het heeft een kingsize XL tweepersoonsbed (180cm x 210cm) en een tweepersoonsbed (180cm x 200cm) in de zolderkamer op de bovenverdieping. De kamer heeft een en-suite badkamer met toilet, regendouche en wastafel en is uitgerust met een smart tv en kledingrek. En het beste van alles: een droombalkon dat uitkijkt over de hele vallei!

Slaapkamer 4, de andere slaapkamer aan de voorkant, heeft een kingsize XL tweepersoonsbed (180cm x 210cm). Het is uitgerust met een smart tv, een bureau en een kledingkast en heeft natuurlijk ook toegang tot het geweldige balkon aan de voorzijde. Deze slaapkamer heeft een grote luxe badkamer met toilet, douche en een ligbad met uitzicht over de hele vallei! Dompel jezelf onder en droom weg na een dag vol activiteiten. Deze badkamer is ook toegankelijk vanuit de hal, zodat iedereen er gebruik van kan maken.

Slaapkamer 5, aan de achterkant van het chalet, is wederom een zeer geschikte familiekamer. Het heeft een XL stapelbed (90 cm x 210 cm) en een tweepersoonsbed (180cm x 200cm) op de zolderkamer. De kamer is uitgerust met een een kledingkast.

Slaapkamer 6 is een goede kamer voor 3 kinderen, maar de bedden zijn ook groot en ruim genoeg voor volwassenen. Deze slaapkamer heeft een XL stapelbed (90 cm x 210 cm) en een XL eenpersoonsbed (90 cm x 210 cm). Het is uitgerust met een smart tv en een kledingkast.

Slaapkamer 5 en 6 hebben toegang tot een gedeelde badkamer met douche, wastafel en toilet. De grote luxe badkamer met bad is ook toegankelijk vanuit de hal.

* Alle XL tweepersoonsbedden kunnen ook uit elkaar worden gezet om 2 eenpersoonsbedden te maken.
