In the heart of the Hochkönig region, just a short distance from Salzburg, lies the Pillows & Pines chalet. A warm, well-equipped chalet filled with luxury and comfort. Perfect for families, couples, and friends.
The chalet is spacious (240m²), bright, and offers stunning mountain views. It provides plenty of space for up to 13 guests. Enjoy quality time together in the cozy living room, relax on the (partially) covered terrace, or indulge in long, leisurely meals at the large dining table.
6 + 2 Bedrooms
This is the perfect place to unwind. There are 6 spacious double bedrooms, two of which have an additional sleeping loft. Trust us—the kids will love it!
5 Bathrooms
Comfort is guaranteed. Four of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom for that true hotel experience. Each bathroom features a private rain shower, sink, and toilet. Additionally, there is one extra bathroom and a separate toilet.
WELLNESS
After a day in the mountains, there’s nothing better than unwinding. Warm up in your private sauna, step under one of the many rain showers, or soak in the extra-large bathtub with breathtaking mountain views.
Dining
Togetherness is all about enjoyment. Prepare delicious meals in the professionally equipped kitchen, featuring 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, and a spacious cooking island—everything you need is here. After cooking, gather around the large dining table or, on nice days, enjoy your meal on the outdoor terrace. And don’t forget to fire up the barbecue!
FIREPLACE
What could be cozier than gathering around the fireplace in the evening? Pour yourself a nice drink, put your feet up, and unwind in the inviting lounge.
ENTERTAINMENT
In the lodge, you can work comfortably or enjoy quality time with friends and family. It features high-speed WiFi, a smart TV in every bedroom, speakers, and a Nintendo Switch. Let the fun begin!
HOCHKÖNIG CARDS
Your stay includes Hochkönig Cards, which offer great perks: in winter, enjoy discounts on activities like sleigh rides and an alpaca walk, while in summer, you get free access to all summer lifts, the swimming pool, and the hiking bus.
Parking
Parking is easy, with space for four cars at the chalet (uncovered). If you need additional parking, you can use spots in the village or near the lift station.
Start your day right with a short walk to the village bakery to pick up a delicious, fresh breakfast. Gather around the table, enjoy the breathtaking views, and treat yourself to a tasty cinnamon roll or croissant!

Good morning! After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to wake up and start the day.
Let’s head up the mountain! The lift takes you to 1,600 meters in no time. Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, have fun at one of the playgrounds, and then ski, sled, bike, or hike back down at your own pace. There’s something for everyone!

Something to eat, an aperitif, or maybe both? The Hochkönig region is full of charming restaurants where you can recharge. Treat yourself to Kaiserschmarrn, Apfelstrudel, or a delicious schnitzel paired with a refreshing spritzer. Cheers!
